Chance Pe Dance has just released. After the huge success of the Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na there is not much good news for Genelia till now. We all are hoping that she will hit the bull’s eye again with Shahid this time.

We like to start the New Year with a resolution. Irrespective of our past failures we get set to start the New Year with a new spirit and confidence. The resolutions reflect our personality and goals in life. But Genelia seems to think the other way around. She doesn’t like making New Year resolutions. At least she has not yet framed any New Resolution for the year 2010. She just likes to enjoy her days as they are. She feels that by taking resolutions we create extra-pressure on our mind and body. So, it’s better to live without a resolution. Then there is a better chance of enjoying the twists and turns of the life to its fullest. Well, all said and done, we believe that Genelia has avoided a New Year resolution just because to avoid the confusions of Bollywood and Kollywood. She herself is not sure about her stay in Bollywood as of now. Still, wish a Happy New Year babe!

versus Asin

Well guys, don’t bite your nails. Your cutie Genelia has not declared a war against Asin yet. I am just trying to see who is better placed between duos from the Bollywood perspective. It seems that both of them are currently making paintings at home because of lack of mega Bollywood ventures of late.

While Genelia is known for her sweet smiles and soft stature on the other hand Asin has got a bold attitude. This places Asin a bit higher than Genelia. Moreover in her approach to the media Asin seems to be more comfortable and professional compared to Genelia. In this age of media monopoly you must know how to treat them well. In that aspect Asin is quite good. Though Genelia’s acting is better but she needs to be careful about her approach to the Bollywood and its surrounding media. Otherwise she will end up losing to Asin.

Genelia achieved new heights with the booming success of the movie ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’. But since then things have not gone well for her. Nothing is proving to be positive with her efforts. After the success of Jaane Tu she stopped signing south Indian films. She seemed to have completely avoided especially the Tamil films. But the great (!) failure of her latest movie ‘Life Partner’ has propelled her to South Indian movies again.

In Telegu, Genelia has a release coming in the form of ‘Katha’. Moreover she has signed a big budget movie called Orange. It can make her place permanent again in the south Indian movie industry. So it’s almost clear that Genelia is saying a temporary bye-bye to Bollywood for now. Only another Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na can save her Bollywood dreams. But the most important question is—will she get another Jaane Tu….?

Need some solid steps

With the success of ‘Jaane Tu…..’ people started to bet for Genelia. But things have not changed much for her even after the huge success of that movie. It seems that she is losing track somewhere. She needs to do some strong roles to survive in the Bollywood. As the Bollywood is undergoing a transitional phase whoever wants to stay here must do something special. Genelia has failed to create a calculated hype to keep eyes glued to her. May be she does not like things to happen this way. But then the challenges become tougher for her. Some experimental roles must be tried in order to keep herself afloat in this fast-track industry.

With the likes of Kareena and Priyanka inching towards the top spot and Katrina moving constantly upwards actors in the level of Genelia must do something special to stay up in the business. Otherwise this industry is well known to kick away strugglers!

Though ‘Jaane Tu….Ya Jaane Na’ got all the pre-release hype for the much-awaited launching of Imran, but after release it turned to be pretty lucky for Genelia too. She became the latest to rock the glamour city of Bollywood. Though that was not her first film, but it launched her filmy career in a new manner. Currently she is busy acting in three language versions of the movie ‘It’s My Life’ in Hindi, Tamil and Telegu.

In her recent Interview we spoke to her experiences in working in a Hindi and a southern movie and also her comeback plan.

After a long gap you are all over the place with two back to back releases; First Mere Baap Pehle Aap and then Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na. How does it feel?

It feels fabulous to be back with a bang. I am looking forward to seeing what kind of welcome I get with these two releases.

Currently Genelia D’souza is in Australian shooting for “It’s My Life” which also stars Harman Baweja . This movie shooting started in Delhi with Sanjay Kapoor . The movie is directed by Anees Bazmi. Genelia was last seen in Janne Tu ….Janne Na which was a super Block busting movie and Harman was seen in Love Story 2050 which was not that a great hit.

Genelia D’Souza who is a hot star and very famous actor of the south, who made her debut film in Hindi in Tujhe Meri Kasam. She has recently paired with Imraan Khan in Janne Tu …. Janne Na. Hot Bollywood star Genelia D’Souza’s favorite sport is football and had never thought that they would one actress, “Frankly, I did not ever dream of acting in my life. I’m an athlete and his national level football player. “David Beckham is her favorite player,” I have admiration for his appearance and his stylish way of game play, “she says.

Genelia, who holds a degree in Management Studies, is still reeling from the mega-hit success of Jane Tu Ya Na Jane opposite Imran Khan, now in a clock rate of about 60 crores. She is currently filming of the Hindi remake of her monster hit Tollywood Bommarillu – the new version is called it’s my life and will also star Harman Baweja. She won the South Filmfare Award for the original and she has already remade the once – for Kollywood under the title Santosh Subramaniam – this is something of a record.
