The quite successful acting career of this young 5’6” beauty began with Boys, a Tollywood (South Indian Film- Industry) venture while her first step in Bollywood was with Tujhe Meri Kasam. Though her prominent success in Bollywood was the multi-starrer Masti, she had been winning great accolades for her work in Tollywood. Though she has done many movies in both south as well in Bollywood her name earned fame with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na in 2008 making her popular among the young generation of actresses. Her recent movie was with Shahid Kapur titled Chance per Dance. Apart from winning appreciation for her work she has been able to earn much recognition and has won awards for her work down the south. She has been able to achieve the FNCC Best Actress Award for Dhee (2007), Santosham Best Actress Award for Bomarillu (2006), Nandi Special Jury Awards for Bommarillu (2006), Filmfare Best Actress Award (Telegu) for Bomarillu (2006)
